On average women surveyed are spending just under 3hrs a week exercising
Walking is the #1 form of exercise, with 76% saying they regularly walk for exercise.
50% of women surveyed say they use ‘incidental exercise’ as a weight control method.
Nearly 1 in 4 (23%) of women surveyed say they would consider using alternative therapies as a method of weight control
More than 2 in 5 women said that they always read the labels on food products for nutritional information
51% of women say that they eat healthy foods as a way of life, not a form of dieting
The average amount of time spent on leisure per week by women surveyed was just over 3 and a half hours – or 30 minutes per day.
29% of women say that they are more stressed now than they were a year ago
The top three causes for stress cited by women surveyed were:Financial concerns 50%Lack of sleep 44%Lack of time to get through what’s required in a day 34%
Exercising/playing sport is the number one method of relieving stress cited by participants (34%)
More than 1 in 2 (53%) women surveyed are not happy with the amount of sleep they are getting
